Old bridges elsewhere recently restored

Ex-Boston & Maine Railroad, iron trestle over the Assabet River in Hudson, MA
For a total of $600,000, this 125 foot bridge was recently refurbished for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in 2005 and 2006. It was somewhat interesting in that it was dismantled, transported to a facility to be sand blasted of the old paint, repainted, transported back and then reassembled in its original space. All for $600,000.  A bargain.
